Billing Policy

Billing Guidelines

This practice operates a private billing policy. This means that there will an out-of-pocket cost after Medicare rebate has been applied. The Medicare rebate will be paid to you immediately at the time of billing by tapping your card a second time. 


Our billing arrangements apply to all consultations, including face-to-face and telehealth (phone and video). The Medicare Item numbers listed below also have telehealth equivalents enabling the same rebate as face to face consultations, but for some of these, Medicare will only permit rebate for patients registered with My Medicare. For telehealth items Medicare will only allow rebate where the patient has been seen at the practice face to face in the preceding 12 months.
